Phillip Joined The Web in January of 2023, taking the reigns as the new Executive Director after the retirement of longtime (and beloved) Web ED Dewayne Harris. Phillip has worked hard to fill the big shoes left during this passing of the torch, and strives to take The Web to even greater heights in the coming years!
While Phillip is fairly new to the Anchorage area, he is not as new to the state of Alaska, or the field of non-profit servitude. Before moving to Anchorage, he spent the previous 3 years working in the field of Public Safety in the rural Alaskan community of Unalaska/Dutch Harbor. Before that, he worked in the field of education as a teacher and as a School Administrator for nearly a decade in Florida. Serving the community and being a beacon of hope and help has long been of pinnacle importance to Phillip in his career. He now looks to bring that leadership experience and heart of a servant to The Web.
Bringing a unique mixture of experience in, and understanding of, non-profits, education, law enforcement, leadership, grantwriting, and community service, Phillip looks to effectively lead The Web and its staff in their mission to offer hope with no red tape and no strings attached.
